DescriptionCoffee cup and saucer with transfer-printed pattern is straight sided with a slight flare outward to lip of can, with ring handle. It has chinoiserie style decoration of flowers, leaves and bamboo plants overglaze transfer printed in red using pluck and dust technique. It is further overpainted in enamels of green, yellow, black and gold, and acanthus type leaves on the handle in gilt.
