DescriptionSoup plate with floral pattern, with six lobes in the round rim and hand-painted in polychrome enamels with large pink flowers, and leaves in shades of green, brown and orange. There are also branches in brown all accented with gilding. There are small insects painted in puce, and three sprays of flowers on the underside of rim. It is heavily potted and semi-translucent. The glaze is not impermeable on underside and has darkened to pale yellowish-brown.
