DescriptionChinese porcelain dish, blue and white with eight lobed rim. It has a central medallion painted with a scholar and attendant carrying a qin in mountainous river landscape. The rim has barbed panels of tassels and ruyi motifs, and the exterior frieze has two motifs of birds on flowering branches and birds in flight.
