DescriptionA modelled group showing a lady seated beside a tree and reaching up with her left hand to feed a parrot perched in the branches, from a basket of cherries in her lap. Another parrot sits before her on a small oval table with baroque pedestal. She wears a flowing yellow skirt patterned with flowers, a puce and green bodice and pick shoes with blue bows. A Harlequin stands behind her, laughing and holding up a bunch of cherries in his left hand. He wears a grey pointed hat, a tunic, half black with playing cards and half of multicoloured diamonds, striped trousers, one leg black and white stripes, the other leg red and white stripes, yellow shoes with green bows, gold buttons on his tunic, cream and gilt belt with brown slapstick. The white oval base encrusted with multi-coloured flowers and leaves.
