DescriptionZapotec bat effigy urn, Monte Alban III, Classic period, of a crouching figure with front paws clenched, head with open mouth and extended tongue, perforated eyes, large ears and forehead crest. It is wearing a twisted rope work necklace with central pendant, and there are traces of pigment remaining.
