It has Chinoiserie figures on terraces within elaborate Laub-und-Bandelwerk and Gitterwerk cartouches flanked by Chinoiserie figures in gold on tasselled supports beneath baldacchini in puce, iron-red and gold, with similar vignettes on the cover.
